St Mary Magdalene Church
A memorial is located in St Mary Magdalene Church, Campsall consisting of two white marble tablets mounted on black marble incised black lettering inscription on black marble in gilt lettering. It lists the names of 26 WWI casualties and an additional 14 names from WWII. Ths inscription is:

Originally buried at Ressen, Holland before being reburied in present location on 1 April 1947
Died in the Nijmegen bridgehead –Operations at Aam on 2 October 1944, one Company of the 1st Welsh Guards had been sent forward to reinforce the 3rd Irish Guards' defence and had taken up position North of the Bn HQ. The coordinates of the Coy position, given in the War Diary of the 3rd Irish Guards. Another Welsh Guards Company moved up to reinforce the position at Aam during the morning of 2nd October.
