Adwick le Street
The memorial is situated inside St Laurence Church. It is a tablet which commemorates both world wars. The inscription reads:

Was one of two air despatchers on 295 Squadron Short Stirling mk IV serial number LK170 coded 8E-P airborne from Harwell between 12:50 and 13:16 on a re-supply mission codenamed Market III in support of ground troops during the Arnhem operation. It was hit by flak at 15:50 and crashed and exploded on impact at Nieuweweg Eede (Mun Aardenburg).
